Daniel Kaufman is a product and interaction designer in Austin, TX. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with honors where he focused on product and interaction design. Daniel is also an avid furniture maker, ceramist, fermentation-experimentalist, unicyclist, bicyclist, traveler, and photographer.
Daniel is currently working with USAA's Design Studio. He is also the lead designer for the startup, Hone.
Daniel has worked at IBM Design on Watson IoT. He has also worked with Under Armour, Deeplocal, MAYA, PNC Bank, Carnegie Mellon University, and Direct Dimensions. He also interned with a potato broker for a few summers of his childhood and still cannot look at potatoes the same way again.
Daniel is also currently an design industry mentor through a16z and has been for the past 2 years.
